Every week I document trades, dividends received and other changes to the portfolios. This week, there were a lot of trades!
Trades
Dividend Portfolio
I aim to buy dividend paying stocks each and every week of the year. I just love adding to my income stream and watch in real time how my income stream from dividends keeps increasing!
This week I bought three different companies.
First, I added to my position in Realty Income (NYSE: O) @ 58,99 USD. This gave me a forward yield of about 4,7 %, and as many of you know Realty pay monthly dividends. Mm-mm-mm!
Later during the week, I kept adding to Hufvudstaden (STO: HUFV A), like I have done previous weeks. This tranche @ 124,9 SEK locked in a yield of about 3,1 %.
Last, I increased my position in Essity (STO: ESSITY B) @ 280,00 SEK, giving me a current yield of about 2,3 %.
1 USD is about 9 SEK.
There were no sales in the Dividend Portfolio. Buy and hold, baby!
Rocket Portfolio
I maintain about 10 % of my capital allocated to stocks in my growth portfolio – the rockets! Rockets are awesome and go straight up!
Since I have much less capital in this portfolio, my buys are normally less frequent.
This week however, I was really in the mood for some rockets!
I added to my position in Atvexa (First North Stockholm: ATVEXA B) @ 96,50 SEK.
Then, I bought more Teqnion (First North Stockholm: TEQ) @ 32,40 SEK.
After that, it was time for some more Mycronic (STO: MYCR) @ 194,50 SEK.
Theen, I was hungry for some Swedish Orphan Biovitrum. Bought @ 164,20 SEK.
I then added more to my position in AqualisBraemar (OB Match: AQUA) @ 5,75 NOK. Swedish crowns, Norwegian crowns, who cares right?
Then The Betting Devil got me and I bought some more shares of Better Collective (STO: BETCO) @ 124,00 SEK.
Aand theeen (Hey dude where is my car anyone?) I added to Vitrolife (STO: VITR) @ 221,60 SEK.
After that I initiated a new position in Adyen (Equiduct: ADYENa). This is a Dutch company providing payment solutions. Due to certain complications with one of my brokers, I bought a tracker instead of the actual stock. The day I bought the stock however (Thursday) had a closing price of the ordinary share @ 1569 EUR.
Enough with the European stocks. I need some ‘murican rockets!
After Adyen, I bought their American counterpart Square (NYSE: SQ) @ 177,78 USD.
Then I bought some shares of Castle Bioscience (NASDAQ: CSTL) @ 49,10 USD.
Finally (!) I got me some Xpel (NASDAQ: XPEL) @ 26,81 USD.
All three American companies were new positions in my Rocket Portfolio. I can’t wait to share my Rocket strategy and portfolio over the coming weeks and months!
Dividends received
A normal month for me contains dividends coming in every week of the month. Small but juicy pay-checks landing in my account, without any effort required from me!
I track these weekly dividend based on percentage of my monthly expenses, because money is relative. To one reader, my actual amounts (normally in USD or SEK) in dividends would be a lot of money. To another reader, they would feel like nothing. For me, it makes a lot of sense to think about money in terms of how much one needs compared to how much one gets. When you receive dividends equal to 100 % or more of your expenses, you are financially free.
Dividend Portfolio
This week I only received dividends from one company, namely Cisco Systems. Just one dividend for a week is well under average for me, but hey – I’ll take it.
Cisco paid me a sum equal to about 0,6 % of my monthly expenses.
Rocket Portfolio
My Rocket Portfolio did not receive any dividends.
